Job Description

Media Relations


  • Develops and executes media relations strategies to strengthen the company's brand reputation.

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with journalists, editors, and relevant media outlets.

  • Supports external agencies on press releases, media statements, and feature articles.

  • Coordinates media interviews, press briefings, and company spokesperson engagements.

  • Monitors media coverage and provides regular reporting on strategy effectiveness.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Sets the strategic direction for keywords to be used in various online and media channels

  • Conducts keyword research, site audits, and competitor analysis.

  • Collaborates with agency teams to ensure SEO best practices are embedded in all content.

  • Tracks, analyzes, and reports SEO performance metrics along with the agency


Content Writing & Storytelling

  • Sets the strategic direction for content for press releases, articles, speeches, website copy, newsletters, and social media.

  • Develops brand stories and messaging frameworks to ensure consistent tone and positioning.

  • Proofreads and edits materials for clarity, grammar, and alignment with brand guidelines from the external agency

The Successful Applicant


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing communications with proven expertise in media relations in an agency or FMCG/Retai; background

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

  • Must be ammenable to work in office 5x a week
