Senior Back-End Developer (C#, PHP/Laravel, SQL) Job Title: Senior Back-End Developer (C#, PHP/Laravel, SQL) Employment Type: Contract Location: Remote (with overlap in EST) Industry: E-commerce / Web Applications About the Role We are partnering with a growing digital team that is looking for a seasoned Senior Back-End Developer to support both legacy systems and modern web applications. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable owning complex back-end solutions, moving between C#/.NET and PHP/Laravel, and helping keep multiple projects on track. You’ll play a key role in stabilizing existing storefronts while also contributing to the development of new applications and websites for a sister company. For the right person, this is a long-term engagement with the opportunity to function as an integral part of the team. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain back-end features for both legacy storefront applications (C# and SQL) and modern web applications (PHP/Laravel and MySQL) Support and enhance existing systems, troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes to improve performance and reliability Collaborate with front-end developers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver features on time and to specification Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, and system design Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices Contribute to improving development processes, tooling, and code quality Help ensure projects stay on schedule and support ongoing work across multiple initiatives Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of professional experience in back-end software development Strong experience with C# and SQL (e.g., MS SQL Server) Strong experience with PHP and Laravel framework Solid experience with MySQL and relational database design Experience working with existing/legacy applications and refactoring or extending them Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, application architecture, and best practices in back-end development Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders Nice to Have Experience with e-commerce / storefront systems or similar transactional platforms Exposure to front-end frameworks or libraries Experience working in distributed or fully remote teams Background in performance optimization and scalability for high-traffic applications #J-18808-Ljbffr
