Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Back-End Engineer to join our team supporting and enhancing casino systems. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Laravel and a deep understanding of back-end architecture, database management, and API integrations. You will work closely with our operations and development teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize back-end systems for casino platforms and applications.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate APIs and ensure seamless system communication.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system issues to maintain uptime and performance.
  • Participate in system upgrades, version migrations, and new feature rollouts.
  • Implement best practices in security, performance optimization, and database management.
  • Maintain proper documentation of code, processes, and technical configurations.
  • Provide on-site technical support and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in back-end development, preferably in a gaming or casino systems environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Laravel (PHP framework) and familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment processes.
  • Familiarity with server environments and performance monitoring tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in casino or gaming software development and integrations.
  • Understanding of data security, compliance, and transactional systems.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and queue systems (e.g., Redis, RabbitMQ).
