Our client, a leading company in the iGaming industry, is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer (Java)
to join one of its multinational Scrum teams and help create state-of-the-art software solutions.

The company values strong technical expertise as well as solid communication and collaboration skills, as the first hires will be key in setting technical standards, participating in technical interviews, and potentially moving into leadership positions such as Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to system architecture design and technical analysis.
  • Develop new features and enhance existing codebases.
  • Participate in technical discussions, estimations, and reviews.
  • Design and implement custom functionalities and microservices.
  • Maintain the company's backend software stack.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience
    in Java (SE/EE) development.
  • Strong knowledge of
    Java 8+
    ,
    Spring Boot
    ,
    Hibernate
    , and
    microservices architectures
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Java concurrency
    and distributed systems.
  • Expertise in at least one of:
    AMQP, ZeroMQ, JMS, Kafka, or Hazelcast
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    SQL and NoSQL databases
    .
  • Experience implementing and consuming
    REST APIs
    .
  • Proficiency with
    unit and integration testing frameworks
    .
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Excellent English communication skills.

  • Experience with
    Docker, Maven, or Gradle
    .
  • Understanding of
    Clean Architecture, MVC, and design patterns
    .
  • Familiarity with
    ETL processes
    and
    ORM principles
    .
