Responsibilities
  • Lead the recruitment processes for Unitra Maritime Manila Inc., focused on hiring qualified Filipino seafarers.
  • Work closely with maritime professionals to fill vacancies aboard various types of vessels.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Implement effective sourcing strategies to attract the best maritime candidate.
  • Evaluate candidates\' qualifications in accordance with the STCW Code and company standards.
  • Maintain compliance with maritime regulations and industry standards throughout the hiring process.
Educational Qualifications

Minimum bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

1 to 3 years of experience working in a maritime industry.

Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient in various recruiting techniques and employee relations.
  • Knowledgeable in basic Microsoft computer software.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to screen candidates effectively.
  • A keen eye for detail in all aspects of recruitment.
  • Coordinate and implement effective recruiting strategies.
  • Develop relationships with potential candidates.
  • Manage the recruitment process from job posting to hiring process and uploading of seafarer\'s information in the database.
  • Conduct interviews and assess applicants based on company needs and job requirements.
  • Work with management to forecast hiring needs and set recruitment goals.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations throughout the recruitment process.
