FP&A Associate is mainly responsible for developing, preparing, and improvement of management reporting and financial analysis. He also serves as a supporting in month-end forecasting, scorecard, cost review, and annual budget.
This role is mainly focus on operating expenses by providing data and analysis for management reports and analysis. Also, in analyzing and monitoring of capital expenditures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Contributes to the annual budget and forecast by communicating and validating OPEX assumptions together with Sales & Marketing and Admin Divisions. Help the team to contribute additional income and/or mitigate cost.
· Provides key performance matrix through scorecard pertaining but not limited to DSO, DPO, AR status, OPEX variance, etc. and recommend an action for improvement to hit the target.
· Prepares and reviews OPEX variance analysis that would identify the cost behavior of actual expense vs. forecast, last year, and budget.
· Provides relevant and critical findings and recommendations addressing identified issues by performing analysis on headcount and headcount charges, promo events, and admin expenses, etc.
· Provides power point slide as a support in finance team for any internal reports such as Cost review, Business Review, etc. with a thorough analysis that provide meaningful key points in the presentation.
· Processes and monitors the Annual CAPEX expenditures of every department to ensure that spendings are within budget
· Provides Cost-benefit Analysis for every CAPEX proposal to ensure favorable returns to the Company
· Responsible for any Asset disposals proposed by engineering, participate/witness in the bidding process, and propose for any provision on retirement of asset. Safeguards the Company's assets by ensuring that the correct procedures are followed.
· Responsible for providing financial implication of any major projects pertaining to marketing and admin division and provide a recommendation that would minimize cost/ improve efficiency such as long run advertisements, new digital marketing strategies, investments, etc.
· Ensuring the B.I. Software particularly to SAP - FI that was properly used and keep communicating to IT developer for any circumstances.
· Assist general accounting in the monthly P/L closing for the analysis and commentaries particularly on operating expenses.
· Set/Assist for new policies and/or revision associated with marketing and admin function to improve company's internal controls and mitigate errors/inefficiencies.
Job Qualifications
· Minimum Education Required: College Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology or Management Accounting
· Minimum Number of Years/ Relevant work experience: At least 2 years' experience in related field with solid understanding in Accounting and Finance. Background in SAP is an advantage.
· Technical Competencies: Must have solid understanding in Financial and Cost Accounting
