Join to apply for the Demand Planner role at Lago Role: Demand Planner Location: Remote | Philippines Schedule: 9AM-5PM Eastern Time Zone Salary: Open to negotiation based on experience This position is responsible for the development of annual, seasonal, monthly, and product procurement plans utilizing current sales and trend information. Partners with Procurement, Brand Growth & Brand Operations teams on the development of pre-season and in-season demand and purchases. Key Responsibilities Develop projections and purchase flow by SKU/item. Provide analysis related to driving business goals (e.g., hindsight’s, promotional strategies, etc.). Forecast monthly and seasonal plans to ensure all orders fall within approved financial targets. Analyze and react to performance of strategy based on actual sales and current trend performance. Prepare and participate in monthly Open-to-Buy meetings. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and propose tactics in response to current business trends. Make recommendations for key financial strategies/decisions in order to maximize sales, margin, and inventory productivity. Manage and execute promotional and liquidation strategy. Communicate revisions within the team and to external partners. Analyze historical demand data and utilize seasonal selling curves by category, brand, and country among other attributes as required. Exhibit initiative to look beyond the everyday business to find opportunities to maximize sales potentials. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in finance, operations, or business preferred. 2+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandise planning, demand forecasting; inventory management, financial planning, etc. Amazon experience preferred. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; strong aptitude with numbers; retail math skills; understanding of forecasting methodology. Make decisions with limited information and synthesize large quantities of data to drive business decisions. Strong communication and presentation skills: concisely present complex information/recommendations in terms meaningful to internal and external stakeholders. System proficiency with emphasis on Excel, DOMO, or Tableau a plus. Build collaborative partnerships cross-functionally; identify/influence critical stakeholders.
