Role The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company’s accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. This role involves managing the AP team, maintaining strong vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and supporting overall financial operations. Responsibilities Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable department. Oversee invoice processing, expense reports, and payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Develop, implement, and maintain efficient accounts payable policies and procedures. Review and reconcile accounts payable reports, statements, and transactions. Manage vendor relationships and respond to inquiries or payment issues in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements. Monitor and improve internal controls related to the AP function. Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable. Collaborate with procurement, finance, and other departments to support business operations. Lead, train, and mentor AP team members, fostering professional growth and high performance. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent is a plus). Proven experience (7+ years) in Accounts Payable or related accounting functions, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes. Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
