The Construction Manager will be responsible for overall construction and site management, including temporary and permanent works.

  • Manage the company’s site team organization.
  • Act as the company representative on-site, handling concerns, coordination, site visits, and inspections by external stakeholders and local authorities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all site operations, construction activities, equipment installation, and interconnection works.
  • Manage daily site construction activities and coordinate work of subcontractors, resolving issues related to procedures, methodologies, and remedial actions.
  • Manage interfaces between different project components such as the power plant, switchyard, and transmission line.
  • Lead technical discussions during tender clarifications and evaluate deviations or value engineering proposals.
  • Coordinate with support groups to resolve issues affecting project milestones.
  • Determine and resource project needs with appropriate skills.
  • Assess risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Oversee site activities, including equipment delivery, schedule and progress monitoring, and testing and commissioning.
  • Monitor project progress against schedule, providing weekly status updates focusing on milestones and critical tasks.
  • Review schedule updates and perform scenario analysis for delays or improvements.
  • Monitor payment milestones, review claims, and support claim negotiations.
  • Ensure contractor manpower, equipment, and materials align with project schedules.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and technical discussions.
  • Conduct punch-list activities to ensure work completion and conformance.
  • Participate in post-project reviews, sharing lessons learned and recommendations.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned to support the project.
