Overall Construction & Site Management (Temporary Works and Permanent Works) responsibility and accountability.

Manages the company’s site team organization.

Act as the company representative at site to manage and handle any concern, coordination, site visit and or inspection by external stakeholder and or local authorities’ concerning the site activities;

Detailed planning, coordination & management of all site operation, construction activities, equipment installation, interfacing and interconnection works.

Provides day to day management of site construction activities; manages and coordinates the work activities of the construction subcontractors for the project and resolves construction matters such as work procedures, methodologies, remedial actions, catch-up plans and or related problems.

Manages the interfaces between the power plant, FCRS, switchyard and transmission line components of the project.

Lead the technical discussion and coordination during tender clarifications and evaluation of any proposed technical deviations or value engineering by a contractor or vendor.

Coordinates and interfaces with various support groups of the company to resolve issues and concerns that may affect the project activities or milestones.

Determine resource requirements and identify resources with right skills to successfully execute projects.

Assess potential project construction risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans in coordination with all stakeholders.

Oversee the construction site management and monitoring of site activities, including equipment delivery, project schedule and progress monitoring, budget tracking, and conduct of test and commissioning works.

MonitoractualprogressoftheprojectactivitiescomparedtotheContractor’s schedule and provideaweeklystatusupdatesummaryreport,withparticularfocusonproject milestones andthecriticalpathoftheproject(andtasksthatarecloseto critical).

Performadetailedreviewofeachschedule/programmeupdatethatisissuedbythe contractor and provideareviewreporttohighlightchangesmade,withfocuson milestonesand critical(ornear-critical)activities.

Performscheduleanalysisandscenariooroptionexaminationwhenchangesto the programareneededtomitigatea delayorprojectissue,oraccommodatea perceivedimprovementoropportunitytoimprovetheprogram.

Monitorprojectpaymentmilestones,includingreviewingcontractors’payment claims and validatingif claimedmilestoneshavebeencompletedpertherequirementsofthe contract.

Provide technical support and inputs during preparation, negotiation and finalization of claims submitted by subcontractors.

Monitorthecontractors’actualmanpower,equipmentandmaterialdeliverywith respecttothecontractors’plans,toascertainconsistencyofthecontractors’activities withtheoverallprojectmilestonesandcompletionschedule.

Facilitate and attend coordinationmeetings,technicaldiscussionsandproblemsolving discussionsasnecessary(inparticularwhereprogrammeissuesareinvolved)to facilitate smoothandsatisfactoryprogressofthework.

Facilitates conducts of punch-listing activities through inspection of completed works to ensure completeness and conformance with the detailed construction drawings and technical specifications.

Participates in the post-project review during closeout by sharing lessons learned and providing feedback and recommendations on various aspects of the project.

Perform othertasksthatmaybeassignedfromtimetotimetosupporttotheproject.
