The development performed should be done according to priorities and objectives defined by the Project Leader. And provide support to field team and customer, field problem analysis.**A week in the life of a Development Engineer:*** Understand, analyze and challenge requirement in respect of our customer.* Design, coding, unit test, bug fixing, and optimize.* Cross validation of other modules from the colleagues, challenge his/her design by your use case design.* Track the bugs in system.* Co-work with other teams, locally or remotely, to have the project successfully.* Improve the process as you can.**Knowledge, Skills and Experience:*** **To succeed at this job, you must have:** experience with Assembly, C/C++, Java and VB.Net.* **It would be preferred if you have e**mbedded software development, card operating system, or smart card experience.* **You must be** fluent in English and should have good communication skills (both verbal and written).* **We would like someone to join our team who is** analytical and logical in solution making, autonomous, a team-player in a diverse environment, a strong communicator, able to propose solutions, energetic, innovative and has high tolerance of stress.* **You must have** a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Automation or Electronics Engineering.* **We are looking for someone with** at least 1-6 years of experience in a full-time position within an embedded software development field.* **You must be able to travel** domestically up to 5% of the time for trainings, customer briefings and support.At Thales, we’re committed to fostering a workplace where respect, trust, collaboration, and passion drive everything we do.
