Responsibilities Develop and refine strategies for ad hoc maintenance, preventative maintenance, and capital works Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure long-term partnerships Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve best value and challenge service quotes Identify root causes of equipment failures and breakdowns Ensure maintenance work is performed at regular intervals, using calendar-based or usage-based methods Manage the HVAC/Refrigeration Asset register and interpret priorities Maintain records of all planned maintenance processes and work orders Implement innovative solutions to improve productivity and resource utilization, focusing on MC (CMMS) and Safety Culture Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Track key metrics to measure efficiency gains and cost savings, and deliver compliance, risk, and sustainability targets and KPIs What you need Non-negotiables Technical knowledge and experience in HVAC and refrigeration, combined with strong communication and a proactive approach Proven ability to manage multiple projects on time and within budget Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret pricing and quotations, and negotiate effectively Ability to identify root causes of equipment failures and rectify them before major issues arise Experience in multi-site facilities management/maintenance Preferred skills / expertise Ideally 3 years’ experience in proactive maintenance within HVAC/Refrigeration Retail site experience or equivalent, preferably in a trade-related and/or petrol and convenience-related business Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders Strong time management, planning, and goal-setting abilities Proven track record of contract and contractor management About MicroSourcing With over 9,000 professionals across 13 delivery centers, MicroSourcing is the pioneer and largest offshore provider of managed services in the Philippines.
