In this role, your mission is to oversee the full accounting cycle—from payables and receivables to month-end reporting—ensuring financial accuracy and operational excellence. Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Handling bi-weekly payroll processing, tax filings, and employee data maintenance in third-party payroll systems. Reconciling key balance sheet accounts including bank, credit card, prepaid, and fixed assets. Preparing monthly financial close workbooks, journal entries, and management reports. Leading variance analyses, KPI monitoring, and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) preparation. Implementing and maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with GAAP standards. This Role Is for You If… Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience in general accounting, with proven ability to manage full-cycle accounting and financial reporting at the managerial level. Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel is a must. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and deadlines. Knowledge of GAAP, payroll taxes, and month-end closing procedures. Non-Negotiables: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Exceptional communication and organization skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining ethical standards. Bonus Points: Experience managing financial processes across multiple states or business units. Proficiency in database management and financial analytics tools.
