Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirements gathering
- Prepare Proposed Solution and Design
- Prepare Scope of Work, Timeline, Assumptions, and related estimates as needed and related proposal components
- Conduct Proof of Concept/Proof of Value solution development
- Prepare materials and conduct Solutions Presentation
- Lead business development related discussions and activities
- Prepare and submit related documents (i.e. meeting minutes, timesheets, solution presentation, etc.)
- Conduct other related activities essential to business development and pursuit of new opportunities
- Participation in company and team activities
- Submission of timesheets based on defined schedule
Aside from the above items, the Solution Specialist candidate will be evaluated on the following key areas which will be considered as part of his or her evaluation for regularization:
1. General Pre-sales Capabilities
- Business Writing and Communication Skills
- Requirements and Needs Analysis Capabilities
- Client Engagement/Account Management
- Engagement with Principals e. Leads pursuit and nurturing
- Regular reporting of opportunities progress
2. Product Knowledge
- Ability to map out customer requirements vis-à-vis (Solution/Technology) functionalities
- Ability to accurately address (Solution/Technology) queries from customers and internal users
- Ability to provide scenarios where customer can appreciate the value and functionalities of the proposed solution
- Capability to prepare high-level solution design
3. Solution Presentation and Demo Skills
- Ability to captivate the audience, establish credibility and set an energetic mood for the presentation session
- Ability to communicate and highlight key product features, benefits, and value proposition
- Ability to accurately address clarifications from the audience during presentations / Ability to confidently address questions from the audience, and if answers are not available, to be able to gracefully set aside questions to be addressed at a later time.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role/capacity
- Experience with ServiceNow (preferred)
- Experience with other similar platforms (must have) • Related certifications a plus
