Retail Manager

We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our dynamic team at RELX International. This full-time role will be based in Manila City , and will play a crucial part in driving the success of our retail channel marketing strategies. Job Responsibilities Daily Operations Management Ensure achievement of sales targets and profitability for the direct stores in the Philippines. Develop and execute sales strategies, monitor sales data, and adjust strategies in a timely manner to enhance performance. Manage cash flow to ensure the rational use and efficient turnover of funds. Manage inventory to ensure reasonable stock levels in the stores. Manage the store staff team, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and team building. Plan and execute promotional activities. Team Building and Leadership Responsible for building and leading the local direct store team in the Philippines to ensure smooth business operations and efficient team functioning. Store Expansion Assist the expansion manager in the opening of the new stores, ensure the steady implementation of all matters necessary for operation. This includes the assessment suggestions for the initial location, the progress of personnel recruitment, license processing, inventory of goods, and store display to ensure the smooth and timely opening of the store. Job Requirements Possess 3-5 years of relevant experience in retail operations management, familiar with the management model of direct stores, and proficient in multi-dimensional aspects of store operations such as people, goods, and marketing systems, preferably in the e-cigarette or FMCG industry. Experience working in a Chinese company and an identification with Chinese corporate culture is preferred. Ability to work independently while also possessing a team spirit, good organizational coordination skills, and problem-solving abilities. A deep understanding of the retail industry and familiarity with local laws and regulations in the Philippines. Proficiency in English and the ability to communicate in Chinese will be a plus.
