CLIENT BACKGROUND

Our client, based in Brandon, Florida, loves making a massive impact on small businesses. They support entrepreneurs by implementing technology to streamline operations, providing clarity through well-prepared financial statements, and empowering leaders with insights to make smarter decisions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own monthly close (banks/credit cards/loans, accruals/prepaids, fixed assets/depreciation, leases, WIP/job costing, revenue cutoffs) and deliver class/location P&Ls
  • Manage categorization of transactions and preparation of financial statements
  • Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) / Accounts Payable (AP) processes
  • Process and oversee payroll operations
  • Perform basic bookkeeping functions with accuracy and efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–3 years of experience working with a US-based accounting firm
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO) – must-have
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable adopting and learning new tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Passion for AI, ChatGPT, and automation-driven efficiency
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Required Tech Experience

  • QuickBooks Online

Nice to haves

  • Experience in financial analysis
  • Exposure to tax preparation or tax support
  • Familiarity with Pool Brain, Skimmer, Jobber, Housecall Pro, or ServiceTitan
  • Experience with Keeper and other integrated bookkeeping platforms
