Job Description

The District Sales Officer is responsible for leading and managing a team of Pharmaceutical Representatives to achieve sales targets, promote pharmaceutical products effectively, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the sales team.
  • Set clear sales targets, performance goals, and strategies for achieving them.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new Pharmaceutical Representatives.
  • Monitor the performance of team members and provide feedback, coaching, and support.
  • Oversee the allocation and management of sales territories.
  • Stay informed about pharmaceutical market trends, competitor activities, and changes in healthcare regulations.
  • Promote pharmaceutical products effectively and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, healthcare institutions, and local distributors.
  • Manage the budget for sales and marketing operations.
  • Provide regular reports to higher-level management on team performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business studies, administration, management, or equivalent.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of success in leading a team to achieve sales goals.
  • High level of proficiency in recruiting, selecting, training, and developing a dynamic sales team.
  • Drive for self-development and an action-oriented work ethic.
