We\'re Hiring: Quantity Surveyor (Makati and Manila)

Job Accountability
  1. Calculates and manages all cost-related aspects in construction projects to ensure the project is completed within the projected budget.
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Calculates budget before the start of a project based on the final awarded price.
  2. Tracks changes to the design and/or construction work/schedule and adjusts budget projections vs project accomplishment.
  3. Recommends for approval of monthly progress billings/claims and ensures sub-contracted payment schedule is in accordance with sub-contract agreement.
  4. Keeps track of variations in projects to ensure the project costs remain within the stipulated budget (manpower, materials, tools, utilities, etc.).
  5. Validates cost coding report to ensure project/building profitability.
  6. Ensures timely and proper execution of project deliverables in consideration of contractual obligations.
  7. Assesses risks and resolves issues and technical problems that may arise.
  8. Prepares monthly construction billings and claims.
  9. Ensures compliance with company health, safety and environmental standards.
  10. Maintains organized files and related documents.
Skills and Qualifications
  1. Registered Engineer or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, with 1–4 years of quantity surveying experience from a reputable construction company.
  2. Working knowledge of design codes.
  3. Background in Contract Management.
  4. Attention to detail.
  5. Strong time management and self-improvement orientation.
  6. Able to work productively under pressure.
  7. Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.

Salary: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month

Schedule
  • 8 hour shift
Supplemental Pay
  • 13th month salary
  • Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate
  • Manila: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience: Construction: 2 years (required)
