Overview

Join a UK-based tech-driven company at the forefront of financial data innovation. We're looking for a skilled Oracle EBS Technical Analyst for our client's hubin the Philippines.

This role will provide technical support for the Oracle E-Business Suite of our client.Working as part of a team delivering BAU support and projects related activities, this role will be involved in the development of interface solutions, creation and support of workflow procedures and reporting as well as servicing ad hoc technical and support requests.

Responsibilities
  • Develop interface solutions for inbound and outbound dataflows as well as data migrations.
  • Configuration and support of workflow within Oracle EBS
  • Creation and maintenance of PL/SQL packages
  • Development and maintenance of OA framework
  • Development of Oracle reports within the application
  • Perform month end processing activities
  • Provide peer code reviews for developments created by other technical team members
  • Review and appraise functional and non-functional requirements in order to design and deliver software solutions
  • Develop software that conforms to industry and the client's best practices / coding standards
  • Offer and provide support and assistance to colleagues where appropriate and provide system knowledge sharing
  • Produce detailed and thorough documentation in relation to development processes and tasks
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of service and implementation of global development standards
  • Be responsible for ensuring that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance and operational risk requirements are met (e.g. cultural behaviours, security policies and regulatory requirements)
  • Complete any mandatory training by the required deadlines.
Experience / Competences
  • Extensive and solid experience as Oracle EBS Technical Analyst
  • Oracle EBS R12 functional support experience in the following modules:
    • AP, AR, GL, iProc, PO (essential)
    • FA, PA, OTL, CE, iExp (desirable)
  • Experience of finance process flows and double entry accounting principals
  • Experience of the full project life cycle from requirements capture through to implementation and delivery
  • Working within support and project delivery roles
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience
  • Competent technical skills in the following:
    • Extensive experience with SQL & PL/SQL
    • Good experience of Oracle report builder & form builder
    • BI Publisher
    • Workflow
    • Alerts
    • AME
    • APEX
    • Design and Build interfaces
    • Oracle Applications Framework (OAF)
    • Data migration (incl. data loaders and More4Apps)
    • Setup migration (incl. iSetups and ConfigSnapshot)
    • Performance tuning
  • MS Office expert user
