About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Technical Product Manager to join our team. This is a unique and challenging role for a dynamic individual who is not only a skilled project manager and customer-facing expert but also a hands-on problem-solver with deep technical knowledge . The ideal candidate will be a master of context-switching , capable of shifting from high-level strategic planning to diving deep into the technical weeds of our product. You will be the central nexus for product development, sales support, and technical execution , ensuring our product meets both business goals and customer needs. On Working Hours We\'re a distributed team across Asia, North America, and Europe. This means your schedule needs to be flexible. Expect to work primarily on Beijing/Manila time (UTC+8) , but be ready for occasional evening calls and collaboration outside of a standard workday. What You\'ll Do Drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch by writing detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs ). Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and maintain the product roadmap. Oversee firmware feature, bug, and release management . Technical Leadership Serve as a lead developer on key projects and contribute directly to codebases. Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues and bugs, acting as a final escalation point. Conduct in-depth technical research, including exploring new technologies like BACnet , to inform product development. Provide essential pre-sales and post-sales technical support to our customers. Join customer calls to answer complex technical questions and build trust. Conduct customer interviews and ride-alongs to gain firsthand insights into their experience. Security & Operations Manage and respond to security questionnaires from customers during security reviews. Research and document product capabilities to ensure accurate information is provided. Develop and maintain internal tools to streamline team workflows. Oversee project management for various initiatives, ensuring alignment across engineering, sales, and leadership teams. Manage relationships and projects with external vendors. Collaborate with engineering teams, serving as a galvanizing force to deliver on the product vision. What You\'ll Bring 5+ years of experience with a proven track record in product management or a similar technical role. Strong technical background with hands-on coding and development experience. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical concepts for a non-technical audience. Experience with customer-facing roles , including interviews and technical support. Ability to think critically and solve complex, ambiguous problems.
