Procurement Junior Buyer (Spanish Speaker)

  • Complete transactional buying and appropriately allocates to suppliers within required service level agreement. Manages sourcing process by analyzing requisitions, enforcing preferred supplier compliance strategy, sourcing to potential suppliers according to commodity-driven supplier list, completing free-text requests, and obtaining best price, delivery, and terms for non-contracted items
  • Provide operational purchasing activities related to indirect spend based on service level agreements and policy thresholds, using the local language of the country being supported, as needed.
  • Verify purchase requisitions and processing requirements, determine best source of supply by conducting sourcing/bidding activities, place the orders and ensure POs are consistent with contractual agreements or approved terms and conditions.
  • Conduct expediting as necessary, including coordinating the vendor master information, monitoring of open order and or closing of inactive orders based on policy, keeping all relevant stakeholders aware of order status
  • Identifies non-value added work to support a hands-free environment
  • Accomplishes organization mission by completing relevant activities and delivering results, as needed
  • Ensure compliance to company spend policy and established playbook. Conduct daily activities within SLA for the purchasing & procurement of requisitioned parts, indirect supplies & services, in accordance with established policies, SOP's and SWI's, across designated procurement commodities

Job Requirements

  • You must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Business or any related major.
  • You must have at least 1-2 years’ experience in Procurement (sourcing, evaluating bids, proven ability to correctly translate and process customer requests)
  • Preferably, you must have negotiation experience, International Logistics expertise, Supplier Management with foreign incoterms, experience working in multinational companies
  • You must have previous experience with SAP-ERP, SRM, CRM, or comparable system
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • You have the ability to follow procedures and sequential processes
  • You must have critical thinking skills to analyze/review orders and drive process efficiencies
  • You are a team player and have strong interpersonal skills
  • You have proven ability to work on own initiative
  • You must have exposure to a Shared Services Center or BPO setting
  • Ability to speak in Spanish is required
  • Amenable to work on night shift and hybrid set up
