Maintenance Supervisor (Mould Injection)

Responsibilities
  • Accomplishes maintenance human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that all plant equipment and machineries are in good working condition.
  • Delegates and controls work assignments to maintenance employees.
  • Repairs and maintains machinery and equipment, recommending major and minor repairs as needed.
  • Meets maintenance operational standards by supporting strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems.
  • Monitors Meralco power for power failures.
  • Recommends, prepares and implements projects to improve operations, including acquisition and installation of machinery and replacement of old equipment.
  • Assists in troubleshooting, maintenance activities, and repairs of machines.
  • Submits Monthly Electricity Consumption readings and Monthly Machine & Mold Downtime reports.
Leading & Training
  • Motivates and inspires subordinates, coaches them and counsels them to build teamwork and achieve positive results.
  • Instills discipline among subordinates and administers disciplinary actions as needed according to company rules and regulations.
  • Reviews Maintenance personnel performances and provides feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Effectively trains and develops subordinates to enhance their competencies for short term to long term operations of the company.
Minor Responsibilities
  • Ensures proper housekeeping of the plant.
  • Monitors stock level of spare parts.
  • Recommends, coordinates with purchasing on purchases of local and imported spare parts.
  • Provides assistance to production regarding engineering/maintenance capabilities.
  • Performs instrument/gauge calibration.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned from time to time.
  • Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering Graduate
  • At least 3 years of experience in an Industrial Plant with supervisory experience
