Job Description Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data pipelines and infrastructure. Develop and oversee data governance frameworks ensuring accuracy and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data engineering efforts with business goals. Mentor and manage a team of data engineers to achieve high performance. Ensure seamless integration of data from multiple sources for analytics purposes. Drive innovation in data technologies and methodologies to stay ahead in the Technology & Telecoms space. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data workflows and systems. Manage project timelines and deliverables in alignment with organizational objectives. The Successful Applicant A successful Head of Data Engineering should have: Strong expertise in data engineering, analytics, and architecture. Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and modern data tools. The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. A proactive approach to solving problems and driving innovation. Technology Stack:Python & SQL Data Transformation: dbt or a similar framework (e.g., SQLMesh). Big Data Processing: Apache Spark, Kafka, or equivalent frameworks. Orchestration: Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
