We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Data Platform and Governance to lead the organization's data management, governance, and reporting initiatives. This role is pivotal in establishing a robust data foundation that enables accurate insights, informed decision-making, and a strong data-driven culture across the company.

The ideal candidate will oversee the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-wide data systems—ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance—while leading a team of data professionals focused on building one trusted source of truth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, testing, and optimization of data pipelines, database schemas, and common data models.
  • Manage issue resolution and escalations related to data quality, access, and reporting.
  • Define and implement a comprehensive Data Governance framework, including policies, processes, and data standards.
  • Oversee the architecture, integrity, and performance of data platforms to support business analytics and reporting.
  • Drive the execution of data programs and initiatives, ensuring delivery against roadmap timelines and KPIs.
  • Champion a data-driven culture, promoting ownership and literacy across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and security standards.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to align data capabilities with business goals.
  • Support business units with timely and accurate data extraction and reporting needs.

  • Timely delivery of data-related initiatives (vs. planned timelines and budgets)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT, data analysis, or data management, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading data governance, data management, or analytics teams.
  • Strong technical background in data modeling, database design, and data warehouse platforms.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance outcomes.
