Job Description Lead the design, development, and optimization of large-scale data pipelines, architecture, and platforms to support enterprise analytics. Oversee the execution of data engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with SDLC, IT governance, and business priorities. Define and enforce data engineering standards across the organization, covering quality, integration, security, performance, and governance. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, IT teams, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions. Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and career development for delivery managers, architects, and engineering leads. Manage vendors and systems integrators, ensuring service quality, risk mitigation, and cost-effectiveness. Conduct regular performance reviews, build team competencies, and drive continuous improvement. The Successful Applicant 10+ years of experience in data engineering and leadership roles. Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and coordinate across business and tech functions. Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Databricks , and API-based data integration. Architecture & Design: Deep understanding of data architecture, ETL frameworks, cloud-based data solutions, and scalable pipeline design. Strategy & Governance: Strong foundation in setting enterprise data engineering strategies, DevOps practices, and compliance standards. Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving capabilities, decision-making skills, and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Project & Vendor Management: Experience managing multiple initiatives and external partners simultaneously.
