HR Specialist - payroll (with Monthly Allowances)

Job Description

Responsibilities: - Administer local payroll, timekeeping and government mandated benefits (SSS, PHIC and HDMF) - Review time and attendance data prior to payroll processing to ensure accuracy - Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions and deductions - Maintain confidentiality of payroll transactions - Resolve payroll discrepancies - Handle social benefits of employees - Handle employees contracts and job offers - Provide payroll information by answering questions - Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures - Process final pay for separated employees - Provide payroll reports to Finance after each payroll run - Familiar with labor laws - Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications: - At least 3 years of experience in payroll - Experience in manual payroll processing - Handling at least 200 employees - Strong experience in processing government benefits - Experience in alphalist and BIR year-end report - Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking and time management skills - Knowledge of Income Taxation - Detail-oriented - Able to work in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot, VLookup and formulas is a plus) - Can start ASAP - Willing to work in Makati, 9am to 6pm; 5 days a week
