A Day In The Life As the Paid Advertising Strategist, you are responsible for owning the execution, performance, and growth of campaigns within your book of business. You are oriented towards the clients’ business success, tying your efforts to the greater business goals. You are self-started and autonomously own your responsibilities. You work hand-in-hand with account leadership to ideate and evolve the strategy of your service within the broader media mix. You are responsible for owning reporting, optimizations, client communication, and execution of keyword research, ad copy development, bid optimizations, and routine campaign management, sometimes with the support of a Specialist. You are excellent at providing insights and forward-thinking strategy to clients on an ongoing basis, and have a strong understanding of your service’s strategy and the levers to pull to drive performance. Responsibilities Full ownership and execution of performance marketing via paid social & paid media native platforms Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, YouTube Ads, Bing Ads Effectively executing builds and production end-to-end with redundancy across channels; facilitating production with Specialists on teams where applicable Lead execution of optimizations with regards to performance improvements relative to goals Manage all client budgets and/or advise on budget changes based on your expertise Own strategic internal communication for client teams Provide proactive internal communication on performance, strategy, recommendations, deliverables, and action items; coordinate with Specialists as needed Weekly client progress recaps, outlining performance insights and future recommendations Strong marketing and business strategy acumen Full understanding of the marketing funnel and how to execute via paid social and paid media Full understanding of the eCommerce model and lead gen strategies Navigate roadblocks and adapt strategy to changes in landscape to achieve desired results Own performance reporting and strategy communication Execute performance reporting A-Z with strong presentation capabilities Leverage data to tell a story and articulate results to clients and key stakeholders with clear next steps Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes Utilize Power Digital’s Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department Role Requirements 2-3 years of digital marketing experience; 1-2 years in an agency setting Minimum 2 years of experience with Direct Response marketing; specifically in E-Commerce, Lead Gen or B2B Minimum 2 years of experience with Meta Ads for direct response campaigns Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Search Engine Marketing Experience with campaign development and optimization processes such as bid optimization, keyword research, and ad copy development Significant campaign management experience in one or more of the following: Performance Max, Standard Shopping, YouTube Ads, Display Advertising, Local campaigns & Bing Ads Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office Suites Proficiency in Google Analytics Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing and paid media’s place in the funnel Other Skills Required Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and project management skills Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed Excellent interpersonal skills Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly and independently Interest in a long-lasting relationship with a growing company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) $9.5k team-member EBITDA Maintain below 10% client churn rate 5-7 accounts Most Important Things (MITs) Excellence in channel production and account performance Cross-channel collaboration Internal communication Power Digital’s people and culture are at the core of our success, which is why diversity in our team’s backgrounds and experiences are paramount.
