Monday - Friday (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PHT) Payroll Processing Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees across multiple projects. Reconcile and verify timesheet data, ensuring approvals are complete and discrepancies are resolved (250–300 employees weekly). Calculate employee entitlements including overtime, leave, and deductions. Ensure compliance with relevant awards, construction-based enterprise agreements, and company policies. Acknowledge receipt of payroll queries from employees and supervisors in a professional and timely manner, then raise the issue to HR for review and follow-up. Compliance & Reporting Ensure payroll compliance with taxation, superannuation, and legal obligations. Prepare and submit required filings (e.g. PAYG, STP, Superannuation, Payroll Tax). Maintain accurate records of leave, entitlements, and payroll reports. Assist with monthly and year-end reporting, including audits and reconciliations. Accounts Assistant Manage group email accounts, prioritising items for action, follow-up, or approval. Perform data entry and maintain accurate records (cost coding and job numbering of invoices). Save and organise files within appropriate folder structures. Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as required. Accounts Support Prepare purchase orders in the accounting software (office-based). Send purchase orders to suppliers and team members. Enter invoices into accounting software (including creditors and subcontractor claims). Perform bank reconciliations. Reconcile credit cards. Enter employee reimbursement payments into accounting software. Assist with preparation of internal reports (e.g. payable summary reports). Support with ATO and compliance documentation (e.g. BAS). Generate internal reports (e.g. general ledger extracts, supplier account information) from accounting software as requested. Requirements Proven experience in administration and/or accounts support. Experience with Australian business operations (construction industry experience advantageous). Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g. Xero, MYOB, or larger ERP systems). Strong Microsoft Office suite skills. High attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities. Understanding of chart of accounts and basic cost coding principles. Confidence to ask questions and seek clarification when required. Commitment to maintaining adherence to corporate governance and internal control procedures in all administrative and financial tasks.
