About The Opportunity The SAS Services Consultant role is aligned to North American and requires a night shift. The role’s primary responsibility is to support a customer and develop a solution using SAS version 9.4 to meet a customer’s requirements. The normal cycle is discovery, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and production monitoring. Examples Of Solutions Are Converting flat files to meet Dayforce import specifications Merging 2 or more flat files together Extracting changes values from flat files Key Duties Other key duties are the management of the customers’ expectations as it relates to the scope, addition of scope, effort of the project, the timeline or duration of the project, managing expectations on the deliverables of the customer and vendor along with other dependencies. What you’ll get to do Engagement with a customer/vendor to understand the client’s requirement for an integration, and assess the effort and duration required to satisfy the requirement. Work with other teams at Dayforce to develop and test client solutions. With the customer perform day in the life test cases to ensure that the output on the file pass the vendors and customers requirements. Conduct root cause analysis to determine failures as determined by either the vendor or customer. Provide customer with updates to effort and duration if the scope of the project is changing. Follow up with customers/vendors or internal partners to drive closure of the project. Skills And Experience We Value Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience 2+ years’ experience in coding/development in SAS is required Excellent English, written and spoken is required Analytical thinking is required Experience in human capital management application consulting a benefit Technical skills requirements such as SQL is a benefit Ability to analyze and determine root cause analysis is a benefit Proficient in Microsoft Office products Customer relationship acumen Ability to engage with multiple projects & customers at the same time and manage priorities Excellent organization, communication and collaboration skills Ability to lead and facilitate customer workshops and sessions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills What’s In It For You Dayforce is fueled by the diversity of our talented employees.
