SAS Visual Investigator Consultant
who brings strong technical development experience and a desire to work on high-visibility use cases like fraud detection, risk analysis, and complex investigations.

The Role.

SAS Visual Investigator (VI) Development

  • Design and configuration of
    workflow processes and case management
  • Entity design
    : creation of entities, relationship definitions, and linkage logic
  • Customization of
    investigation pages and layouts
  • Scenario configuration
    for dynamic alert generation and investigation triggers
  • Working with
    map objects, controls, and user interaction flows

Data Programming & Preparation

  • Development using
    SAS Viya 3.5
    ,
    SAS Studio
    , and
    SAS 9
  • Hands-on experience with
    SAS Enterprise Guide
  • Writing efficient
    SAS Macros
    for automation
  • Strong skills in
    data modeling, cleansing, and preparation
  • Working knowledge of
    SQL and Python
    (basic to intermediate)

The Expertise.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in
    fraud detection
    , financial services, or investigative analytics
  • Experience integrating
    SAS Visual Analytics reports within SAS VI
  • Prior exposure to
    complex investigation lifecycle workflows
    in regulated sectors
  • Able to articulate system behavior to non-technical stakeholders (e.g., caseworkers, auditors)

Experience & Background

  • 3–8 years
    of experience as a SAS Developer, ideally focused on
    SAS Visual Investigator
  • Demonstrated hands-on development (not just support or monitoring)
  • Preferably with project exposure in
    Singapore government agencies
    or regulatory-driven industries
  • Familiarity with use cases in
    fraud management, financial crimes, or risk operations
    is a big plus

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or any related field
  • SAS certifications (e.g., SAS Viya, SAS Advanced Programming) are an advantage
