The Retail HR Manager oversees all facets of human resources in a fast-paced, multi-location retail environment. This role ensures seamless execution of HR operations including recruitment, training, payroll, compliance, performance management, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is a strategic HR leader who can navigate complex organizational structures while fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture aligned with business goals. Key Responsibilities Oversee full HR operations across multiple store locations and business units. Lead recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure timely hiring of qualified retail and back-office personnel. Implement employee engagement initiatives and retention programs that support workforce stability. Manage training and development strategies, coaching line managers and teams to improve performance and productivity. Supervise payroll, timekeeping, and benefits administration using HRIS and payroll systems. Ensure company compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and internal policies. Act as the point person for government transactions and coordination with banks , SSS , Pag-IBIG , PhilHealth , and DOLE . Collaborate with department heads to align HR strategies with business operations. Handle employee relations issues and support conflict resolution processes. Lead HR-related business process improvements and change management discussions. Prepare and present HR metrics, reports, and recommendations to senior management. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in HR management, ideally in retail or a similarly dynamic industry. Proven ability to manage HR functions across multiple store locations and business units . Strong knowledge of HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite . Experience managing external partnerships with banks, government agencies, and business vendors. Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and decision-making skills. Adaptable to different retail environments with varying store policies and structures.
