ABOUT YOU:
As the Email Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies centered on an audience predominantly visiting obituaries, requiring a high degree of empathy in communications. You will collaborate with the product team to enhance email capture rates and optimizing email conversion flows for our unique audience. You will also conduct market research, analyze consumer trends, and develop marketing campaigns that align with the company's brand and business objectives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Develop and execute high-volume email marketing campaigns across multiple systems and email platforms, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.
- Drive the creation and execution of A/B tests across various channels to determine the most effective strategies for user acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Create engaging, brand-aligned messaging that effectively communicates the value proposition of consumer products while being sensitive to the emotion of the audience.
- Provide strategic recommendations for email platform consolidation and future platform selections to streamline operations and enhance campaign performance.
- Champion a customer-centric approach, continuously seeking to understand and improve the user journey, while collaborating with the product team to increase email capture rates, balancing user experience with marketing goals.
- Develop and manage key performance metrics and analyze and report on campaign performance based on those KPIs, using data-driven insights to guide future strategies.
- Work closely with various teams, including product, design, content, and analytics, to create cohesive and effective campaigns.
- Maintain subscriber data integrity, focusing on segmentation and list hygiene for optimal campaign results.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, statistics, or similar discipline.
- Strong experience in building and launching high-volume email campaigns from scratch, with a focus on empathy and conversion.
- Proven experience across a variety of email marketing and automation platforms.
- Demonstrated ability in making strategic recommendations for email platform optimization and developing requirements for future technology consolidation.
- Growth mindset with a results-driven approach to work (testing, measuring, iterating).
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to produce quality work in a timely manner.
- Basic HTML and Salesforce experience required.
- Demonstrated professionalism and strong attention to detail.
