Accountant | Onsite | AU Accounting experience TOA Global Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone, Central Luzon, Philippines Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and Profit and Loss Statements. Handle tax return preparation and lodgment for individuals, companies, trusts, using Xero Practice Manager. Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS). Register ABN, Stamp Duty, and GST through ClearDocs. Oversee and manage all accounting transactions. Prepare budget forecasts for companies. Generate monthly Actual vs. Forecast Profit and Loss reports. Create monthly internal invoices and finalize actual invoices in Xero Practice Manager. Maintain and update Internal Work in Progress (WIP) jobs. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Preparation of Share Portfolio Analysis and Investment Property Analysis. Manage various accounting functions related to shares, properties, and investments. Preparation of end-to-end recording of sales and purchases using QuickBooks, MYOB, and Xero software. Perform daily bank reconciliations across all bank accounts and entities. Establish and maintain accounting controls, including chart of accounts, policies, and procedures. Process fortnightly and monthly payroll using Excel Timesheets, QuickBooks, and Xero, and generate Monthly Payroll Reports. File Single Touch Payroll (STP) for fortnightly payroll and prepare and file Annual STP reports. Calculate and process monthly and quarterly superannuation payments. Prepare month-end reports, including manual and annual alignment journals. Create and manage Chattel Mortgage worksheets and journals. Maintain a fixed asset register with depreciation schedules for all fixed assets. Calculate, prepare, and submit annual WorkCover reconciliation, ensuring accurate wage reporting and compliance. Ensure all files are saved in the shared folder and updating the Register and Client Listing. Enter and review timesheets in Xero Practice Manager. Liaise with clients, including drafting and responding to client queries via email. Communicate with third parties such as ATO, ASIC, superannuation entities, Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, ClearDocs, WorkCover, and BGL 360. Provide support to the team with more advanced tasks during periods where other team members are on leave. Perform ad hoc tasks and participate in training to enhance skills and knowledge. Creating initial job processes and procedures. Qualifications: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Resilient, good organisational, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines At least 1 year Australian Accounting experience Graduate of Bachelor's degree in accounting Comprehensive understanding of the entire accounting process Ability to quickly adapt to new processes and environments Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and adapt Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks Online, and MYOB Excellent communication and interpersonal skills What's in it for you?
