Your RoleAs an AU Warranty Coordinator, you are responsible for:
- Gather information via phone, email, and live chat for claims and prepare related reports.
- Communicate with owners regarding breakdowns or accidents, keeping them informed of repair progress in line with company policies and customer service standards.
- Liaise with suppliers and staff to ensure repairs are completed efficiently, within quoted costs, and in compliance with technical guidelines.
- Assist with conflict resolution, escalating issues when necessary.
- Support prioritization, tracking, and follow-up of client repairs, ensuring timely updates and transparency.
- Provide guidance and solutions to clients and internal teams on vehicle-related matters.
- Balance owner satisfaction with business costs when recommending repair solutions.
- Negotiate outcomes that optimize client satisfaction while managing expenses.
- Track and report on repair progress, minimizing downtime by ensuring suppliers meet agreed timeframes and standards.
- Confirm repairs follow standard practices and warranty provisions, escalating any failures fairly.
- Manage warranty claims and cost recovery for substandard repairs.
- Ensure accurate technical data entry in company systems and monitor compliance with authorization policies.
- Identify and report service level anomalies or deficiencies.
- Provide technical and logistical support to branches to reduce vehicle downtime.
- Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent.
- Diploma or certificate in business or tourism (preferred).
- 1–2 years of customer or guest services experience.
- Intermediate computer literacy.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Experience handling customer expectations and conflict resolution.
- Supplier management experience.
- Good time management and ability to prioritize under pressure.
- Mechanical knowledge or automotive aptitude (an advantage).
