Summary:

The Operations Head is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of a company, ensuring efficient and effective processes within the operations department to achieve business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the daily operations of the Operations Department.
  2. Oversee the preparation of loan portfolio reports for internal (BOD/Management) and external (regulatory bodies) stakeholders, including documentation activities.
  3. Participate actively in business planning, prepare financial projections, and assist the President in securing approval for the company's annual budget.
  4. Collaborate with all other units of the company to meet established goals and objectives annually.
  5. Develop policies and guidelines to strengthen internal controls, improve operational processes, and minimize costs.
  6. Recommend changes and enhancements to existing processes and secure approval for their implementation.
  7. Liaise with internal and external auditors/examiners and provide necessary assistance.
  8. Work closely with the Compliance Head and Audit Head to ensure adherence to tax laws and regulatory requirements.
  9. Coordinate with the Controllership and Corporate Planning Divisions of the Parent Bank for reportorial requirements.
  10. Authorize loan/lease releases, Statements of Account (SOA), and Journal Vouchers (JVs) for upload to Oracle (loan-related transactions), regulatory reports, and other operational reports.
  11. Assess training needs and facilitate professional development for supervised personnel.
