
Technical Sales Manager

Your Responsibilities Manage and develop solid and trusted business relationships with veterinary pet shops, strategic accounts, general trade and distributor partners, including conducting business reviews and key account management plans to drive visibility and growth and sales productivity. Design and ensure long-term and short-term sales goals, as well as channel strategies to achieve business objectives. Drive functional attributes of the Pet Solution pantry to pet owners and veterinary professionals. Work in the field with distributor teams to maximize sales for distributor partners through distribution and selling opportunities, product training, and coaching on selling and leadership skills. Develop and implement training programs for commercial teams and customers to ensure value creation, including regular visits and engagement with key customers and veterinary customers. Respond to technical inquiries from commercial teams, veterinary professionals, and pet owners in a timely manner. Keep the marketing and commercial team up-to-date with any new competitor products or marketing activity. Effectively manage the regional budget for technical marketing. Communicate activities to distributor sales supervisors/representatives to ensure proper and effective implementation. Handle objections and complaints effectively and follow up on all requests from key customers. Generate forecasts translated from market demand potential and distribution plans. Collaborate and coordinate with internal supporting teams to ensure proper business processes and compliance. Manage accounts receivable effectively. Manage time effectively to ensure that all tasks are implemented efficiently. Your Profile At least 3 years of experience in companion animal nutrition and distributor management. Strong knowledge of pet food science. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong analytical skills and budget management capabilities. Excellent organization and time management skills. High level of confidentiality, integrity and business ethics. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-cultural team. Availability to make constant field/customer visits. Ability to work in a matrix organization; team player. Experience with below-the-line activities indoors or outdoors and familiarity with handling SPG, TL and other promotion activities. Based in Makati, Manila. Companion Animal, Animal Nutrition or Pet Food is preferred. Experience in distribution management and commercial skills; ability to manage distributors and/or key accounts. Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written). Excellent organization and time management skills. Strong analytical thinking and results orientation. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills. High collaborative orientation; ability to work with others across functions. High level of confidentiality, integrity and business ethics. Highly energetic and motivated with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
