Overview The Restaurant Manager runs the show, delivering an experience guests want to come back to, hits its numbers, and makes sure the store operates smoothly. You’ll lead the team, manage the day-to-day, and create a space where both customers and staff feel taken care of. Reports to: Area Manager Direct Reports: Assistant Restaurant Manager, Shift Supervisor, Front of House (FOH) team. Key Responsibilities Customer Obsession Deliver consistent, high-quality guest service aligned with brand values and tone. Personally own and resolve guest complaints with empathy and follow-through. Uphold brand standards including service language, grooming, and presentation. Ensure store cleanliness and hygiene at all times, inside and outside. Monitor service flow and guest interactions, ensuring speed, attentiveness, and accuracy. Hit key financial metrics such as revenue, labor cost, food cost, and average check. Make budget-conscious decisions without compromising the guest experience. Prevent loss and wastage through accurate forecasting, inventory control, and real-time response. Execute promotions and price adjustments effectively, with team awareness and readiness. Build and lead a high-performing team through in-store training and daily coaching. Foster a positive work culture grounded in accountability, professionalism, and emotional safety. Develop next-generation leaders by mentoring Assistant Restaurant Managers. Ensure proper staffing and deployment during lean and peak periods. Lead by example by maintaining a strong presence on the floor and showing how to be calm under pressure. Operational Execution Ensure daily operations run to standard including opening, mid, and closing procedures. Execute shift plans, team deployment, and service sequence with precision. Enforce all SOPs, checklists, and safety protocols across FOH and BOH. Conduct and submit shift reports, incident reports, and other measures consistently and accurately. Respond quickly to operational disruptions, from no-shows to equipment issues, with effective solutions. What You Bring to the Table At least 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-end casual setting. A real passion for customer service. You’re obsessed with making people feel welcome and taken care of. A great personality: warm, approachable, and naturally good with people. Strong communication skills and an even better listener. Comfortable with basic admin work (scheduling, reporting, etc.). Nothing fancy, just organized and reliable. A passion for learning and increasing your skillset through training and workshops.
