Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process from coordination with international suppliers for the delivery of products to inbound process in the warehouse. The primary goal is to ensure an efficient and effective supply chain that optimizes costs, minimizes lead times, and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to align supply chain activities with overall business strategies involvement in the demand planning and market research to provide concrete procurement and shipping plans Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company. Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and minimize carrying costs. Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock turnover and minimize excess inventory. Establish strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms, contracts, and agreements. Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements Identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments. Manage transportation and distribution of products, coordinating with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective shipping. Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution, reduce lead time and transportation expenses. Collaborate with sales and Warehouse teams to forecast product demand accurately. Utilize forecasting models and historical data to plan for future production and inventory requirements. Continuous Improvement Implement lean principles and best practices to improve the efficiency of supply chain processes. Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes. Integrate created and improved SOPs in Odoo Identify opportunities for cost savings, process enhancements, and waste reduction. Developing strategies to address compliance breaches, respond to crises, and implement corrective actions. Develop contingency plans to address disruptions in the supply chain, such as natural disasters or government agencies issues. Establishing clear communication channels with stakeholders to share information about potential risks and mitigation efforts. Creating various scenarios to prepare for different risk outcomes and plan responses accordingly. Adhering to laws and regulations governing trade, transportation, customs, and product safety in each jurisdiction the supply chain operates. Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact supply chain operations. Ensuring that products meet applicable safety, quality, and labeling standards Protecting sensitive data and personal information in accordance with data privacy laws. Managing documentation and procedures required for cross-border movement of goods, while adhering to import regulations. Ensuring accurate customs declarations, valuation, and classification of goods to avoid penalties. Providing visibility into the entire supply chain, including suppliers and subcontractors, to meet transparency requirements. Implement and ensures that sales automation tools (Odoo) is being updated and utilized. Propose enhancements and improvements to the system to boost efficiency and effectiveness. Provide and prepare regular supply chain report to the management. Qualifications: Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering, or business-related course. At least 8 - 10 year(s) of work experience in supply chain or other related functions to operational or distribution management from FMCG industry. Exposure to commodity planning or distribution with hands on experience on certain ERP system People management or leadership skills Good communication skills both oral and written Analytic, critical thinker and demonstrate decision making ability Problem solving ability Advocate to continuous improvement programs High attention to inventory and costs #J-18808-Ljbffr
