Overview

Davao: QA/QC Inspector - Mech/Elec with Thermal Power Plant and Boiler Turbine Experience

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector to conduct quality assurance and quality control inspections on boiler, mechanical, electrical, and C&I systems in a thermal power plant environment. The candidate must have non-destructive testing (NDT) certifications (PT and UT), a valid BOSH certificate, and a minimum of 5 years of QA/QC experience in the boiler/mechanical/electrical fields.

Key qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in boiler, mechanical, or electrical/C&I fields
  • Active BOSH certificate
  • NDT certifications in PT (Penetrant Testing) and UT (Ultrasonic Testing)
  • Strong knowledge of boiler systems, mechanical/electrical/C&I components, and related industry standards
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in report writing and documentation

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive quality inspections on boiler systems, mechanical, electrical, and C&I installations
  • Conduct NDT using PT and UT methods to identify defects and ensure product integrity
  • Interpret and apply relevant codes, standards, and specifications to ensure compliance
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and generate comprehensive reports
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues
  • Provide technical guidance and training to project personnel on QA/QC best practices
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations
