Takes an active Scrum Master role, acting as a key agile practitioner resource and recommending improvements on overall agile approach to the scrum team. Working with Software Development Head, Quality Assurance Manager, Product Owners and Delivery Managers in championing agile practices within the project team and across wider groups in Manila, Australia, and Cambridge, and implementing agile best practices in development and QA areas. Along with the self‑managing scrum team, he/she is responsible for the overall end‑to‑end ownership and accountability of all Manila project team tasks needed to deliver agile projects for Education Technology group. Provide some delivery support to wider groups, helping to understand & communicate dependencies across Education platforms & wider technology projects. What makes you the ideal candidate for this role? The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Scrum principles and practices, and experience in leading and facilitating meetings, whether or not in a formal Scrum setting. You will be the ideal candidate if you enjoy working in an adaptive environment and being able to work with different stakeholders to help the team achieve its goal by facilitating collaboration. In addition, experience, knowledge, or expertise in the following are essential: Expertise in facilitating Scrum ceremonies that help promote transparency and accountability within the team. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills – written and verbal Experience in leading a team either by influence or by having direct line reports and observable ability to coach, inspire, and empower members of the team. Strong organizational and time management skills to keep the team organized and on track. Proficient in Confluence, JIRA / JIRA Cloud (or similar tools), MS Office; Knowledge in MS Project is an advantage.
