Position Description: The Finance Specialist will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and monitoring the financial aspects of infrastructure and projects. The role involves building financial models, conducting project financial analyses, and ensuring sound financial structures are maintained for facilities and their operations. The Finance Specialist will provide strategic financial insights to guide decision-making, optimize project performance, and ensure compliance with financial and contractual obligations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to assess project feasibility, costs, and returns. Conduct financial and economic analyses for infrastructure and projects to support planning and investment decisions. Evaluate project financing structures , including funding sources, risk-sharing mechanisms, and revenue models. Monitor and report on the financial performance and sustainability of ongoing arrangements. Prepare financial forecasts, cost-benefit analyses, and investment appraisals to support project development and implementation. Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to project teams and management. Coordinate with government agencies, private sector partners, investors, and financial institutions on financial matters. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and contractual requirements . Support the preparation of project documentation and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any related field. Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or with equivalent professional certification. Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in financial modeling, infrastructure project analysis, and PPP financial structure monitoring. Strong knowledge of frameworks, infrastructure financing, and economic modeling principles . Proficient in financial software tools and advanced Excel-based modeling . Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills . Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary project team and manage multiple priorities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
