HR Manager Job Description: HR Manager oversees all people-related functions, from recruiting, hiring, and onboarding to training, performance, benefits, and employee relations, developing policies, ensuring legal compliance, managing compensation, fostering positive culture, and aligning HR strategy with business goals. They act as a liaison between staff and management, handling conflicts, disciplinary actions, and strategic talent management to maximize employee value. The role must already have prior management experience as an HR Manager, with relevant work experience, with management experience or similar role and someone who doesn’t have to be trained too much. Key Responsibilities TALENT ACQUISITION/Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee job descriptions, sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and integration of new hires. Policy & Labor Law Compliance: Develop, implement, and interpret HR policies, ensuring adherence to labor laws. o Someone who has already experienced dealing with the DOLE/NLRC, ideally not someone who would experience such concerns for the first time Employee Relations: Mediate conflicts, manage disciplinary issues, conduct exit interviews, and promote positive culture. Training & Development: Identify needs, organize sessions, and support career growth. Compensation & Benefits: Administer payroll, benefits (health, retirement, leave), and performance-based incentives. Performance Management: Support the appraisal process, set criteria, and address performance issues. o Must already have experience creating, setting, and evaluation via quantitative performance metrics (e.g. KPIs, etc.) the performance of the workforce Strategic Planning: Consult with executives on talent management, workforce planning, and organizational goals. Essential Skills o Strong communication (written & verbal), diplomacy, and active listening. o Conflict resolution and negotiation. o Leadership, coaching, and mentoring. o Analytical and problem-solving skills. o Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Qualifications: BS Psychology graduate Preferably female Minimum 3 years work experience Age 35-45 (beyond 45, subject for consideration) Can start immediately Willing to work in Ortigas office
