The facility maintenance technician is tasked with performing general maintenance and repair duties to ensure the facility's functionality, safety, and cleanliness. This role encompasses the maintenance of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and other related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
Perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Maintain HVAC systems, lighting fixtures, and security equipment.
Handle general carpentry tasks like patching walls, doors, and furniture repair.
Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot building issues.
Maintain exterior grounds, including basic landscaping and cleaning.
Monitor and maintain inventory of tools and maintenance supplies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility standards.
Coordinate with external contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are needed.
Keep maintenance logs and report major repairs or issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred.
At least [1–3] years of experience in facility or building maintenance.
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Skilled in using hand and power tools.
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends if needed.
Physically capable of lifting heavy items, climbing ladders, and performing manual labor.
