Maintains all accounting records following generally accounting procedures and following financial controls and practices including running monthly trial balance and recommending correcting journal entries;Reviews and approves the processing of accounts payable transactions in the accounting system and ensures that all invoices and branch reimbursements are paid accurately and in accordance with Finance policies and procedures;Closely monitors past financial data in support of funding requirements;Perform monthly closing including the processing of expense allocations, amortization of prepaid expenses, fixed assets depreciation and recording of adjusting and reclassification journal entries, if necessary;Prepare reports for BSP requirements annually;Monitor inventory and cash in branch including but not limited to, daily deposit review, update bank accounts and other means consistent with BHF Pawnshop policies;Prepare tax computations and returns;Prepare monthly financial reports, bank reconciliation, and cash flow report for GM.Monitors payroll administration;Maintain and manage appropriate balances and fund transfers;Monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences;Perform general account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements, fixed assets, employer's benefits costs, prepaid expenses;Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process;Manage accounts payable; coordinate encoding with responsible staff;Review payable checks and ensure bills are paid on time;Review the booking of expenses and withdrawals from the bank account
