Get to Know the Team

The Driver Engagement team is an integral part of the Driver Operations group within the broader Operations division, which handles end-to-end driver partner quality experiences and merchant partner back-end operations. The team also addresses Safety & Fraud activities. Our team supports all of Grab's business verticals and operations in the Philippines, focusing on all driver-related aspects of our platform. We help shape the company's strategic direction by providing top management with insights and management of driver partners.

Get to Know the Role

As the Assistant Manager, Driver Engagement, you will lead and oversee the overall driver-partner community for all fleet types, including existing ones (2W, Bike) and new ones (e.g., Taxi, Rent, Shuttle). You will manage driver-partner welfare, travel to various locations to engage with driver groups or third parties, and initiate projects to build strong relationships with driver-partner leaders and communities. You will analyze data to create and implement strategic actions to enhance the growth of the driver-partner community.

The Critical Tasks You will Perform

You will develop and manage driver-partner community programs for all fleet types, ensuring their welfare and engagement.
You will travel to different locations to engage with driver-partner groups or third parties involved in the community.
You will initiate and manage projects to build and maintain strong relationships with driver-partner leaders and communities.
You will analyze historical and predictive data to plan and execute strategic actions to improve the growth and engagement of the driver-partner community.
You will regularly report on driver-partner activities, monitor industry trends, and analyze market changes affecting the driver community.
You will collaborate on plans to execute strategies, analyze business proposals, and support projects to enhance driver partner engagement.
You will work cross-functionally to align operations objectives with driver-partner motivations.
You will join conversations in driver-partner community chat groups and facilitate forums/meetings.
You will act as the voice and mediator of Grab in the driver-partner communities.
You will translate data and insights into actionable driver engagement strategies and communicate these needs to stakeholders.
You will actively participate in community engagement activities and provide support.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You will Need

At least 5 years of experience in roles focused on Community Engagement, Relationship Management, or similar.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline. Degrees in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Communications, or Public Relations are also acceptable. A Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) would be an advantage.
Significant experience in process improvement and documentation.
Passion for social missions and making a positive impact in emerging markets.
PMP certification and/or Data Analytics certifications (e.g., Google Data Analytics, IBM Data Analyst) are considered a plus.
Proficiency in regional languages (e.g., Cebuano, Ilocano) is an advantage.
Proficient in data analysis and structured problem-solving.
Skilled at collaborating to review, enhance, and document processes.
Proficient in preparing and interpreting flowcharts, schedules, and action plans.
Strong skills in engaging with stakeholders and working effectively in teams.
Highly motivated self-starter who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Strong ability to work with individuals at all levels, providing motivation and empowerment.
Solid understanding of software applications, including proficiency with tools like Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
