The Role

The Branch Expansion Officer
works with the Branch Expansion Head in managing a timely and orderly planning
of branch expansion activities comprising the pre, during and post opening
requirements. Liaises and coordinates with various stakeholders to ensure that
processes and requirements shall be completed with accurate deployment of new,
renovated and relocated branches.

How you'll contribute

  • Prepares
    document for review/approval of Area Head (AH), Region Head (RH), BBG
    Head, Financial Planning, EPMO, COO and President using the Major
    Expenditure Proposal (MEP) to compute for profitability and projected
    payback period of the branch through set deposit, loans, and income
    targets.
  • Reviews
    branch floor plan as to size, branch configuration and manpower allocation
    to ensure that it conforms with the branch standard requirement for a
    Fully Transformed Branch.
  • Assists
    in communicating with prospective lessor on the inquiry on terms and
    conditions of proposed site using a competency-based negotiation approach
    to ensure a complete and accurate terms in the contract
  • Reviews
    Contract of Lease and mediates between bank's legal and lessors to agree
    on contract terms & provisions for finalization until signing.
    Reviews, monitors timely completion, and verifies authenticity of required
    corporate documents of the lessor to ensure completeness prior to signing
    and pay off.
  • Records
    and monitors statuses of contracts and license applications by using
    inhouse project tracker to ensure all documents required are completed
    prior opening of branch.
  • Conducts
    and facilitates regular checkpoint meeting of all project stakeholders,
    records, and monitors status of projects to ensure that issues and
    concerns are addressed.
  • Assist
    on-site ocular inspection activities for the preparation of Site Approval
    Sheet presentation which includes market study of the area, potential
    target clients, businesses profile and site recommendation. Includes
    conducting micro mapping, site analysis, and initial branch premises
    checking.

    What we're looking for
    • Bachelor's
      Degree holder in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Industrial
      Engineering, Civil Engineering, or any related courses
    • Preferably
      with 2 - 4 years of working experience in the related field. Exposure in
      expansion and site selection would be an advantage.
    • Excellent
      negotiation and communication skills.
    • Ability
      to lead project management activities and to analyze and solve problems
      effectively.
    • Willingness
      to travel to potential branch locations and collaborate with teams in
      various regions.
