About the Role

The Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring compliant and organized document control, aligned with existing and implemented company policies and management systems. This includes Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL, and FSSC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Control: Manage enrolled and controlled documents, lead document reviews, and ensure compliance with implemented management systems.
  • Coordination: Work with Department Heads, particularly the Quality Assurance Manager, to initialize document reviews and align with updates on implemented policies and standards.
  • Internal Audit: Participate in the Internal Audit team and ensure compliance with established management systems, including EHS Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL, FSSC, and other company policies.
  • Budget Administration: Manage allocation, disbursement, and liquidation of the revolving fund, and coordinate with Finance Manager and Plant Accountants on related matters.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in functional congregations, especially in liaising with related Center of Excellence units.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks and functions as may be delegated by the Immediate Superior.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of engineering or management degree, preferably with a license/certification in Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience: With or without previous experience, exposure and knowledge in data and document control, in compliance with relevant management systems in the food industry, is an advantage.
  • Skills: Keen to details, good communication and business presentation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams), and SAP.
  • Attitude: Team-player, customer-centric, and innovative work attitude.
