The associate will work with Glass Lewis' Stewardship team to help support Glass Lewis' Engagement and Stewardship Solutions by:

Managing data generated by Stewardship productsResearching ESG themes for engagement with corporate issuersSupporting the development of Glass Lewis Stewardship team's ESG engagement agendaHelping to produce reporting for Stewardship clientsRESPONSIBILITESSupport custom engagement campaignsGather and manage data used in Stewardship productsIdentify relevant ESG themes and issues for engagementProduce content for client reportingParticipate in engagement meeting with corporate issuers, as requestedPerform other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assignedWho is the ideal candidate?

Ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong data management and writing skills, have background or strong interest in ESG issues, and have the desire and ability to learn quickly. Will have work experience or academic background in the ESG/sustainability field and an excellent ability to work as part of a team.

This is an excellent opportunity to understand the most important environmental, social and governance issues facing institutional investors and how engagement is used to manage the risks and opportunities they present.

Qualifications

A degree in Business, Law, Economics, Political Science, International Relations or other related field of studies.

Languages

Fluency in EnglishExcellent English reading and writing skillsAdditional languages an advantage: Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese and other languages consideredCompetenciesThis position is particularly relevant to candidates wishing to pursue careers in ESG, economics, financial services, corporate law, governance and public policyStrong data management and analytical skillsTask and time management skillsAbility to work efficiently under pressure whilst paying attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team; personableIT skills; proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and online research toolsHubSpot experience preferred Experience in quantitative or qualitative ESG research is considered an advantageWhat Glass Lewis Offers A supportive team-oriented work environmentA comprehensive training program, including how to assess data and write analysis on ESG topicsCompetitive salary and benefitsA multicultural environment with 20+ nationalities and languages.
