Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small compliance team, overseeing performance, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with senior management on staffing decisions, salary administration, and resource allocation.
  • Contribute to the strategic plan of the compliance team, guiding goal-setting and priority alignment.
  • Provide guidance to staff, promoting teamwork and communication.
  • Offer advice to business partners on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Implement and manage the Corporate Compliance Program within the business unit.
  • Partner with Corporate Compliance to identify training needs for regulatory compliance.
  • Develop procedures to ensure legal compliance within the business unit.
  • Identify and escalate compliance risks associated with business activities.
  • Participate in compliance risk assessments and align the Company's Compliance program with business unit guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial services laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, management, and organizational skills.

Experience:

  • Solid background in compliance or risk management; managerial experience preferred.
