The Booking Officer Role: Coordinate travel arrangements, manage bookings, and ensure excellent customer service with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle inquiries efficiently.

• Assist clients in planning and booking travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities. • Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding travel options, prices, and availability. • Address client inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and promptly.

Key Tasks:

  • Client Interaction:
    • Assist clients in planning and booking travel arrangements.
    • Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
    • Address client inquiries and concerns.
  • Booking Management:
    • Make and confirm travel reservations using booking systems.
    • Ensure all booking details and documents are accurate and complete.
    • Monitor and manage booking changes and cancellations.
  • Coordination:
    • Collaborate with airlines, hotels, and travel providers to secure reservations.
    • Coordinate complex itineraries and special requests.
    • Arrange necessary travel documents and visas.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain organized records of bookings and client information.
    • Generate and provide travel itineraries and invoices.
    • Prepare reports on booking trends and client feedback.
  • Problem Resolution:
    • Address and resolve booking issues and travel emergencies.
    • Assist clients with rebooking in case of cancellations or changes in travel plans.
  • Customer Education:
    • Educate clients on travel restrictions and health and safety guidelines.
    • Offer travel tips and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Tourism Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Understanding of travel arrangements and logistics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing excellent service.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing priorities and client needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with generating reports and maintaining documentation.
